Back from the States..

June 22nd, 2009 by Steven

I haven’t updated my blog in a while, why? Mainly because I’ve been gone for a few weeks on my holiday. My first time to the United States and the people following my Twitter feed have seen some of my impressions. I won’t repeat those here, they’re still publicly readable. What I will do is post a list of things I saw during the trip. Just a quick list though, I’ve seen too much to remember ;-)

Why I don't like SharePoint: Part IV

May 1st, 2009 by Steven

Ah, it’s been a while since I’ve made a post with this title. It’s time again though. My arch-enemy in software world has once again managed to astound me with it’s presence. And I mean that  in a negative way. The question I’ve been asking myself recently is “Why? Why do businesses think that everything should be solved with SharePoint?”

Then I found my solution in Spb Mobile Shell 2, and now version 3 is out!

Farewell my trusty Xbox…

April 7th, 2009 by Steven

It has happened. As an Xbox 360 owner you can probably wait for it to happen, but you still have hopes that it never happens. Well, it just did. The so called Red Ring of Death has appeared on my Xbox and I cannot get it to work anymore. A quick call to tech support resulted in the inevitable: I have to send it in to be repaired. I’ve done that before and haven’t seen my Xbox for well over a month (maybe even 2). Hopefully that’ll go faster this time around.

Xbox support advises to register your console online and make a repair request through their site. Luckily for me, the site is being weird and doesn’t want to accept my request. I’m so glad everything works as it should…
